Putting Your Children First

The Family Contact Centre is a place where children of separated families can spend time with one or both parents and sometimes other family members.

The most important people in the centre are the children. We aim to provide a warm, safe, sociable atmosphere everyone can relax and enjoy themselves.

The Family Contact Centre is run by fully trained volunteers and staff. They are impartial and do not take sides. They work to a strict confidentiality policy, have been through DBS checks and have safeguarding policies in place.

Visits are normally by referral. Referrals can be made by a social worker, family mediator, solicitor, CAFCASS officer or by a court order. We also accept self referrals. The person making the referral fills out a form and sends it to the centres co-ordinator.
