Here in the Four Clocks Centre there is an exciting toddler group, aimed at 0-4 years old. There is lots of fun to be had, from colourful homemade play dough to exciting toys, sing-a-long to story time, and much more.

There will be tea/coffee for adults and juice/water with a snack for the little ones.

Time 4 Toddlers will be on every:

Friday 10am till 12noon

Putting Your Children First

The Family Contact Centre is a place where a child or children of separated families can enjoy contact with the absent parent or grandparent, in a relaxed, safe and comfortable environment. This helps to maintain contact between a child and both its parents/grandparents.

Our Projects

The Bishop Auckland Community Partnership is a registered charity; it has many projects under its umbrella that are beneficial to local people and visitors to Bishop Auckland Town.

B.A.A.S.S (Bishop Auckland Alcohol Support Services), Memory Club, Time4Toddlers and Breastfeeding and support group are the current projects.

All our projects are funded and non profit making, made up with part time staff and volunteers.

The Four Clocks Centre is the main Project where we facilitate meeting rooms for many organisations as well as sign posting and being home to the Citizens Advice bureau and the Prince’s trust.

Elms Room

This smaller carpeted room is situated on the ground floor.

Ideal for confidential meetings or counselling sessions.

This room can hold up to 8 people (depending on set up).

WiFi available and also a telephone which can also be used to contact reception should you need anything.

There are also toilet facilities near to this room.

Day Cost: £14.50 per hour (8.30am – 5.00pm)

Evening Cost: £16.50 per hour (5.00pm – 8.00pm)

Hot Office

Situated on the second floor, this is a cosy smaller room ideal for small groups of up to six people.

The Hot Office is also ideal for one to one / confidential meetings or counselling sessions.

WiFi is available and also a telephone which can also be used to contact reception should you need anything.

There are also toilet facilities near to this room.

Day Cost: £14.50 per hour (8.30am – 5.00pm)

Evening Cost: £16.50 per hour (5.00pm – 8.00pm)

Brougham Place

Pronounced “broom”, this room is on the ground floor and has a light and airy aspect, originally designed with children in mind, it has a smooth easily washable floor and a sink area and underfloor heating.

This room has been used by several arts and crafts groups and a knitting club as well as for street dancing for young people.

Brougham Place is ideal for meetings up to 20 people, it is easily accessible and has toilets on the ground floor.

Day Cost: £16.50 per hour (8.30am – 5.00pm)

Evening Cost: £19.50 per hour (5.00pm – 8.00pm)

Our Rooms

We have a multitude of rooms available that are able suit a variety of needs.

Also you can hire extras, including hot water boilers, flip charts, projector etc.

Refreshments, meals and buffets can be arranged if required (pre-ordered from the tea room located in the building).

All rooms have access to WiFi .

The Four Clocks Centre is a thriving community hub which provides many resources and services for the local community. Helping to improve the quality of life for local people. Known as the “Four Clocks” because of its ornate 4 face clock tower, we nestle in the heart of Bishop Auckland, County Durham. Created as a result of the vision and dedication of the Bishop Auckland Community Partnership (BACP), The Four Clocks Centre stands out in the landscape of the town.

The Wesley Room

At the top of the building with impressive timber arches and triangular windows. This room is ideal for board meetings, theatre style gatherings, training days and other activities requiring plenty of floor space.

The room will seat up to 50 people in a theatre seating layout or 25 in boardroom form. A small kitchen can be accessed directly via a serving hatch so any group can provide their own refreshments if they are not using our in-house catering facilities.

The Wesley Room is equipped with a whiteboard and a large pull-down screen for projection use.

WiFi available and an induction loop for people with hearing problems.

The room is accessible via stairs or lift and full toilet facilities are available on that level.

Day Cost: £20.50 per hour (8.30am – 5.00pm)

Evening Cost: £24.50 per hour (5.00pm – 8.00pm)
