The Four Clocks Centre

The Four Clocks Centre is a thriving community hub which provides many resources and services for the local community. Helping to improve the quality of life for local people.

Known as the “Four Clocks” because of its ornate 4 face clock tower, we nestle in the heart of Bishop Auckland, County Durham. Created as a result of the vision and dedication of the Bishop Auckland Community Partnership (BACP), The Four Clocks Centre stands out in the landscape of the town.

Room Hire

We have a multitude of rooms available that are able suit a variety of needs.

Also you can hire extras, including hot water boilers, flip charts, projector etc. Refreshments, meals and buffets can be arranged if required (pre-ordered from the tea room located in the building). All rooms have access to free WiFi .

Time for You Tea Room

Tucked away in the Four Clocks Centre, the beautifully converted Wesleyan chapel in the hub of the town, is a gem of a cafe. Enjoy mouth-watering home cooked food, quality coffees and speciality teas in unique surroundings. There is something for everyone to savour.

Railway Heritage Artifacts

The Four Clocks Heritage Project is a collaborative venture, between Bishop Auckland’s Four Clocks Centre and the Auckland Railways Group. The aim of the venture is to promote the town’s heritage links, with a particular focus on its industrial past.
